I visited the Cedar Hill State Park over the weekend for our state park project. It is a big park with fishing, hiking, picnic area, and includes the Joe Pool Lake. The main feature of the place other than the lake would be its agricultural history museum. There is a part of the park dedicated to the Penn family farm. There are restored farmhouses and agriculture machinery to recreate a time in history of rural lifestyle opposite of the urban style we live in today. It is an escape from the city into nature in which this park consists of two separate ecosystems. The trip was like a fun scavenger hunt for labels, symbols, maps, and anything I could find for the project. Now on to creating a suitable logo.
